Privacy Policy for AI Tool Finder
This policy explains what happens to information when you use AI Tool Finder at tools.aitoolsnote.com. It is operated by aitoolsnote.com. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect and why
- Quiz answers. Your answers are used in your browser to build your shortlist and are not stored on our server. The link you can copy contains your answers so you can share your results.
- Email address (optional). If you join our list, we store your email address, the time, and the names of the tools in your shortlist in a Google Sheet. We use them only to send updates about AI tools. You can ask us to remove your email at any time at [email protected].
- AI search text (optional). If you describe your task in the AI search box, the text is sent to an AI service that picks tools from our list. We do not store the text. Please do not enter personal or confidential information.
- Link clicks. When you click a tool link, we record which tool, the time, and the page you clicked from. We do not record your IP address for this.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider and Cloudflare process standard technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare may set security cookies.
Affiliate links
Some links to tools are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Our rankings are based on how well a tool fits your answers, not on commission at all.
Who we share data with
We use hosting, Cloudflare (security and delivery), Google (Google Sheets for the email list, and Search Console to see how visitors find the site), and AI search. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep data
We keep email addresses until you ask us to remove them or we close the list. We keep click records for 12 months.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing [email protected].
Children
AI Tool Finder is not intended for children under 12, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Other websites
Tool websites we link to have their own privacy policies, which we do not control. You can check it accordingly with the tool’s website
